Pillow Theatre Productions
Theatre by children for children. Audience members are encouraged to bring pillows from home or use the pillows provided, to sit front row and enjoy the show! These Pillow Productions begin with a curtain speech of theatre etiquette and provides an opportunity for audience members to practice what is learned during the live production.
Unicorn Theatre Presents a Special Evening of Theatre!
We are excited to announce this year, our annual fundraiser will evolve into a dinner-theatre experience. In honor of the visionary who first inspired Unicorn Theatre to bring this event to life seven years ago, we are proud to rename it:
The Richard B. Call Annual Evening of Theatre
Richard B. Call, a passionate educator and theatre artist, was a guiding light for our organization. Over his 30-year career as a teacher, coach, actor, and director, Richard touched countless lives. He was known for his wit, humor, and unwavering support.
Richard’s connection to Unicorn Theatre was deep and enduring. His mother, Ruth B. Call, founded Unicorn Theatre in 1962, and Richard began acting with the theatre as a child. As an adult, he remained actively involved throughout his life. He directed, lectured, acted, served as president of the board, and played an essential role in shaping the vision and growth of the theatre. His creativity and passion for the arts was the driving force behind the creation of our annual evening theatre. His legacy continues to inspire our work today.
Join us for A Collection of Selected Monologues and Theatre Scenes by Unicorn Theatre Students—a memorable evening featuring simple yet powerful performances, delicious food, and the spirit of community.
We look forward to celebrating this special occasion with you!
